The new supercharged engine represents an increase in power output for the 4.3-liter V8 from standard 460 hp to 606 hp / 446 kW. Powered by this engine the 2+2-seater car sprints from 0 &#8211; 100 km/h in under 3.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 325 km/h. <span id="more-377"></span></p>
<p>Custom-tailored NOVITEC ROSSO wheels with diameters of 21 and 22 inches, a sporty aerodynamic-enhancement kit and exclusive interior options add further striking highlights.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO specialists fit the eight-cylinder four-valve engine of the California with a mechanical charger driven by the crankshaft via a cogged belt. Boost pressure is limited to 0.4 bars.</p>
<p>The system also includes a water-to-air intercooler, a custom intake manifold and larger injectors. On the exhaust side the car is equipped with a NOVITEC ROSSO stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with sport catalysts. An integrated flap mechanism activated by a small switch on the steering wheel called the ‘manettino&#8217; controls the intensity of the exhaust note.</p>
<p>Precision-calibrated mapping for the engine electronics ensure optimal power yield, perfect reliability and compliance with strict Euro IV exhaust emission limits.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO compressor conversion bumps power output of the ragtop GT from standard 460 hp / 338 kW to 606 hp / 446 kW at 7,900 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 485 Nm to 603 Nm at 5,500 rpm.</p>
<p>The car&#8217;s performance speaks volumes: Acceleration from rest to 100 km/h takes less than 3.8 seconds; top speed increases to 325 km/h.</p>
<p>In addition to more power NOVITEC ROSSO also offers exclusive upgrades for body, suspension and the interior. The body of the California is dressed up in a sporty yet elegant designer suit which is also available in a version made from Carbon.</p>
<p>The shape of the NOVITEC ROSSO front spoiler was developed in the wind tunnel and it lends the front-engine sports car an even more dynamic profile. And with its sophisticated shape the spoiler reduces lift on the front axle for further improved directional stability at high speeds.</p>
<p>New rocker panels with integrated airfoils and black side markers add striking new highlights to the sides of the two-door car. The aerodynamic concept is rounded out with a rear diffuser and rear spoiler lip that both further minimize unwanted lift on the rear axle. A carbon-fiber rear molding adds the finishing touches to the NOVITEC ROSSO look for the Ferrari California.</p>
<p>Gorgeous three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 wheels help further improve driving dynamics. The combination of size 9Jx21 wheels in front and size 11.5Jx22 on the rear axle further emphasizes the wedge shape of the sports car. Technology partner Pirelli supplies high-performance tires custom-tailored to this vehicle. The tires are mounted in size 255/30 ZR 21 on the front axle. In the rear tires in size 315/25 ZR 22 provide optimal traction.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs are calibrated specifically to this tire/wheel combination. They also lower the ride height of the Ferrari by some 35 millimeters. The suspension engineers have further developed a custom feature that makes the California even better suited for everyday use. A hydraulic lift system for the front axle can raise the front of the car by 40 millimeters at the push of a button. This makes it easier to navigate obstacles such as speed bumps or parking garage ramps. The front reverts to its original position at a second push of the button or automatically upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h.</p>
<p>NOVITEC ROSSO can also fulfill Ferrari California owners&#8217; requests for interior customization. Captivating NOVITEC ROSSO exclusive interiors are masterfully crafted to perfection from leather and Alcantara, and are available in a multitude of colors and upholstery designs.</p>

Only three of these automotive masterpieces will be built. The two-seater car is based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano and celebrates its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2010.<span id="more-354"></span></p>
<p>Underneath the striking aluminum skin that sports the unusual color combination of matte white and grey beats an extremely powerful heart: The NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 848 twelve-cylinder twin compressor engine produces 848 hp / 624 kW of power and has a peak torque of 842 Nm. Powered by this engine the car sprints from rest to 100 km/h in less than 3.4 seconds, to 300 km/h in just 23.7 seconds, and reaches a top speed in excess of 345 km/h. This exclusive special model also features an aerodynamic-enhancement kit developed in the wind tunnel, three-piece 21-inch wheels with matching sports suspension, a high-performance brake system and exclusive interior options.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 848 is powered by an evolutionary stage of the tried and proven twin-compressor engine conversion for the six-liter V12 four-valve engine of the F599. For an additional power increase of 40 hp / 29.4 kW both mechanical chargers were fitted with modified turbine blades, several details of the engine peripherals were modified and the engine electronics were reprogrammed.</p>
<p>The high-performance chargers have an electronically limited boost pressure of 0.48 bars. The chargers are driven by a cogged belt and have their own dedicated oil circuit. A large water-to-air intercooler with dedicated water circuit also contributes greatly to the optimal power yield. A custom-developed intake manifold, high-performance injectors and sport air filter round out the engine conversion.</p>
<p>In addition, high-performance headers custom-designed for the compressor engine and the NOVITEC ROSSO stainless-steel quad sport exhaust system with a pipe diameter of 90 millimeters are also installed. The intensity of the exhaust note can be adjusted with a little switch on the steering wheel called the ‘manettino.&#8217;</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO engine management system coordinates the perfect interaction of all conversion components and ensures excellent power yield, running smoothness beyond reproach and maximum longevity.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 848 specification represents a power increase over the production engine of 228 hp / 167.8 kW to 848 hp / 624 kW at 7,900 rpm. Simultaneously peak torque grows by 234 Nm to 842 Nm at 6,300 rpm.</p>
<p>Longer carbon-fiber NOVITEC ROSSO shift paddles make shifts of the six-speed F1-Superfast transmission even quicker and more precise. The gearbox also plays a major part in the superior performance of the car. Acceleration from rest to 100 km/h takes just 3.4 seconds, the sprint to 200 km/h a mere 9.6 seconds. With a sprint time for 0 &#8211; 300 km/h of just 23.7 seconds the NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 848 solidifies its position among the world&#8217;s fastest-sprinting sports cars. The car reaches a top speed of more than 345 km/h.</p>
<p>This level of performance places highest demands on well-balanced aerodynamic properties which received their finishing touches in the wind tunnel. The NOVITEC ROSSO front spoiler lip reduces lift on the front axle. The rear apron is upgraded visually and aerodynamically with a rear diffuser. The NOVITEC ROSSO rear wing further increases downforce.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO rocker panels calm the airflow between front and rear wheel arches and their large air ducts optimize the supply of cooling air for the rear brakes.</p>
<p>The unique paint scheme sets the NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 848 even further apart from the rest: The matte-white aluminum body contrasts with grey accents such as the roof and parts of the hood to create an especially sporty appearance. Black side markers, black tail lights and third brake light as well as LED backup lights add further visual highlights.</p>
<p>The high-performance equipment also includes three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 wheels shod with Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires. The alloy wheels with five double spokes measure one inch diameter more than the production wheels. The front axle features size 9Jx20 wheels with size 275/30 ZR 20 tires. Size 12.5Jx21 wheels and size 355/25 ZR 21 tires on the rear axle provide excellent traction.</p>
<p>The king-size wheels offer space for the high-performance brake system developed in cooperation with brake specialist Brembo. The system uses the largest brake components currently approved for street use. Front and rear axle feature steel discs with a diameter of 405 millimeters and six-piston brake calipers. This system represents an optimal combination of braking power and endurance.</p>
<p>The height-adjustable NOVITEC ROSSO sport suspension also allows the damping rates to be set to the individual preferences of the future owners of the super sports car. The suspension&#8217;s lift function on the front axle can be activated with a push of a button in the cockpit. It raises the front of the vehicle by 40 millimeters to safely navigate such obstacles as speed bumps or parking garage ramps. Upon reaching a speed of 80 km/h the suspension automatically reverts to its original drive position.</p>
<p>The interior of the NOVITEC ROSSO RACE 848 offers an especially exclusive ambiance and features a limited edition plaque with the car&#8217;s serial number. The interior is built to the customer&#8217;s exact specifications and the customer can choose between a highly luxurious or a Spartan racing flair. The interior appointments include aluminum pedals and foot rest as well as the NOVITEC ROSSO leather/carbon-fiber sport steering wheel with flattened bottom for easier entering and exiting of the vehicle.</p>

<p>There is not a lot of information available about the FXX-styled vehicle. The details will be released after the “invitation only” launch in Dubai.</p>
<p>They claim the car has a completely new exhaust, and not just new tailpipes.  The car boasts a unique rear bumper and wing, new side sills, and a front bumper.  It appears the car has LED daytime lights as well.</p>
<p>It just wouldn&#8217;t be a Gemballa without the roof-mounted air intake.  Interior mods include quilted upholstery, dual-tone floor mats, and a video screen.</p>
<p>We hope to find out more about this car&#8217;s performance specs in the next few days.  No word yet if the Gemballa MIG-U1 will appear at the Geneva Motor Show in March.</p>

<p>Tasteful refinements with aerodynamic benefits characterize the NOVITEC ROSSO design program for the sports car from Maranello. All aerodynamic-enhancement components are made from especially lightweight yet high-strength clear-coated carbon fiber.</p>
<p>The NOVITEC ROSSO front spoiler attaches to the production bumper and lends the sports car an even more striking face. Its sophisticated shape further reduces lift on the front axle for even better directional stability at high speeds.</p>
<p>The sides are upgraded with striking NOVITEC ROSSO rocker panel moldings for an even more clearly defined racing look. Black side markers add further individual highlights.</p>
<p>To reduce lift on the rear axle and thus achieve an optimal aerodynamic balance NOVITEC ROSSO equips the California with a newly designed diffuser for the rear apron and a spoiler lip on the trunk lid.</p>
<p>Three-piece NOVITEC ROSSO NF3 wheels also play a major role in the even more stunning appearance of the refined Ferrari. By choosing a staggered combination of size 9Jx21 wheels in front and size 11.5Jx22 on the rear axle NOVITEC ROSSO further emphasizes the wedge shape of the car. Technology partner Pirelli supplies high-performance tires custom-tailored to this Ferrari. The front axle features tires in size 255/30 ZR 21. In the rear tires in size 315/25 ZR 22 provide optimal traction.</p>
<p>NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs are custom-calibrated to match these ultra-low-profile tires, and lower the ride height by some 35 millimeters. At the same time the NOVITEC ROSSO specialists have developed an additional feature to further improve the everyday utility of the Ferrari California. The NOVITEC ROSSO hydraulic front lift system raises the front of the car by some 40 millimeters at the push of a button in the interior. That allows drivers to safely navigate parking garage ramps or speed bumps. At a second push of the button or automatically when reaching a speed of 80 km/h the front reverts to its original position.</p>
<p>Even faster throttle response and more power characterize the first NOVITEC ROSSO tuning stage for the Ferrari California, which increases power output of the 4.3-liter V8 engine by 40 hp / 29.4 kW to 500 hp / 368 kW. Simultaneously peak torque grows from 485 to 518 Nm at 5,300 rpm.</p>
<p>This injection of extra power comprises on the one hand a newly calibrated engine management system with custom mapping for injection and ignition, including a new higher redline speed of 8,300 rpm. The tuning package also includes the NOVITEC ROSSO stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts and a flap actuator operated from the Manettino switch on the steering wheel.</p>
<p>NOVITEC ROSSO fulfills customer demands for interior customization with perfectly finished leather and Alcantara interiors. The choice of available colors and meticulously sewn upholstery designs is virtually unlimited.</p>

<p>Wimmer Ferrari Scuderia Performance Kit is topical at the Essen Motor Show. For Ferrari F430 Wimmer RS has developed a Power Packet that can be heared and felt. The kit includes new Wimmer engine control software and sport valve exhaust system. With the use of remote control a driver can choose between nearly serial sport sound and racing sound. In addition the handbuilt high grade steel exhaust system that optimizes dynamic pressure contains two welded high grade steel exhaust manifolds as well as two sport catalytic converters and an exhaust valves control unit. Upon the whole the new performance kit provides for the sensible increase of 38 hp in engine power what corresponds to the speed increase of about 11km/h, with maximum speed reaching 321 km/h. For acceleration up to 100 km/h F430 Scuderia needs now just 3.84 seconds. 200 kph speed is reached within 11.03 seconds and 300 kph &#8211; within 34.9 seconds.</p>
<p>Now the program includes also new KW HLS system (Hydraulic Lift System): when you push the button, the vehicle equipped with KW HLS is adjusted by up to 45 mm on the front axle. Thus the obstacles that cannot be overcome with low ground clearance, can be driven over without any problems. The hydraulic unit is mounted on the coilovers between spring cups and springs. The advantage of the hydraulic system consists in the fact that no compression (movement) of moving-out cylinder unit (thus no undesired additional elastic deflection) occurs while driving.</p>
<p>19&#8243; BBS FI alloy rims (7.6 kg each front axle rim and 8.8 kg each rear axle rim) on? more time emphasize its sport characteristics. High class super light BBS alloy rims in black are comleted by 8.75&#215;19 with 225/35 R 19 tyres on the front axle and 11.25&#215;19 with 305/30 R19 tyres on the rear axle. High speed tyres are presented by the technology partner Dunlop.</p>

It is an icon of the 1980s and early 1990s, and now the uber Testarossas, the 512 TR and 512 M, can mark themselves apart with a new 19” cast or weight optimized forged wheel upgrade from Cargraphic that can carry the load of this outlandish supercar while trimming the weight.  <span id="more-288"></span></p>
<p>Yet it won’t cost the earth to revolutionize this classic car: the complete set of 8.5&#215;19” fronts and 11.0&#215;19” rears dressed in 235/35R19 and 305/30R19” Michelin tires respectively costs just €5230 including tax. The classic U and Y-spoke designs that are 100 per cent made in Germany fit the profile of this 440 PS strong and 315km/h fast Italian stallion like a glove. Yet these new larger wheels with a bigger aperture and slender spokes bring the car storming into the new millennium. </p>
<p>The icing on the cake is the centre lock look fastening, which gives the wheel its final frosting of sporting flavour. And the cherry is the choice of colours, as for a small surcharge the Landau tuner paints the standard silver finish in any tone you can imagine. The wheels can match the car, contrast violently or come in a highly polished finished, and then there is the wheel centre that can be polished to a mirror finish, too, or supplied in a lightweight alloy racing look.</p>

<p>The world&#8217;s leading tuner of the super cars from Maranello turns the lightweight model into one of the most powerful super sports cars of our time. And with its matte yellow and grey paintjob it is also one of the most spectacular-looking cars of our time. At the heart of this special model lies the new NOVITEC ROSSO 747 Bi-Compressor engine that boosts power output of the V8 that normally produces 510 hp / 375 kW by 237 hp / 174 kW. Driving performance improves accordingly: With a sprint time for 0 &#8211; 100 km/h of less than 3.4 seconds, 9.4 seconds to 200 km/h and just 22.9 seconds to 300 km/h the NOVITEC ROSSO model is the most powerful and quickest Scuderia in the world. Just as impressive is the top speed of 351 km/h.</p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t go forward, you go backwards. The NOVITEC ROSSO specialists have developed a new evolutionary stage of the NOVITEC ROSSO Bi-Compressor version of the four-valve eight-cylinder engine to commemorate the end of the production run of the Ferrari 430 model series.</p>
<p>The Edizione 747 specification is the ultimate high-end version and is limited exclusively to the Berlinetta model of the Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The layout of the engine conversion corresponds to all NOVITEC ROSSO Bi-Compressor conversions for the mid-engine sports car. Each cylinder bank is fitted with an intercooler and a cogged-belt-driven high-performance supercharger with a maximum boost pressure increased for this version to 0.53 bar. The intercooling system features its own dedicated water circuit. The radiator of the system is located behind a special centrally placed air duct in the front apron.</p>
<p>For an optimized supply of cooling air to the engine bay the specialists have developed a special underbody with integrated air deflector. The precompressed air is routed to the combustion chambers using a custom-tailored heat-insulated intake manifold with larger cross sections. Eight high-flow injectors ensure adequate fuel supply for the compressor conversion.<br />
The NOVITEC ROSSO engine management system perfectly synchs all high-performance components and also increases redline speed by 200 rpm.</p>
<p>To guarantee perfect durability even under high ambient temperatures the conversion also includes more effective radiators for water and oil.</p>
<p>The result of this labor is a unique symbiosis of superior power and excellent running smoothness. With a rated power output of 747 hp / 549 kW at 8,500 rpm the NOVITEC ROSSO Edizione 747 Bi-Compressor engine surpasses its naturally aspirated brethren by 237 hp / 174 kW. The increase in torque from standard 470 Nm to 738 Nm at 6,300 rpm represents an enormous plus in low-speed power.</p>
<p>Driving performance is in an automotive class of its own: A sprint time of less than 3.4 seconds for 0 &#8211; 100 km/h is just as unique as the sprint time of 9.4 seconds to 200 km/h. After 22.9 seconds the NOVITEC ROSSO Edizione 747 already reaches the 300-km/h mark. Upon customer request the two-seater can be equipped with longer gear ratios for a top speed of 351 km/h.</p>
<p>In addition the NOVITEC ROSSO Edizione 747 is also the perfect eye catcher: The two-tone special matte yellow and grey paintjob emphasizes the sporty shape of the body and lends the Scuderia pedigreed racing looks. To complement these looks NOVITEC ROSSO installs black taillights, side markers and reflectors.<br />
The racing theme dominates also the engine&#8217;s appearance: All carbon-fiber engine components come with a matte finish.</p>
<p>This color scheme continues on the NOVITEC ROSSO tire/wheel combination custom-tailored for the Scuderia. The diameter of the wheels surpasses the production wheels by one inch. The three-piece 20-inch NF3 double-spoke wheels in sizes 8.5Jx20 in front and 12Jx20 on the rear axle are fitted with Michelin Pilot Cup sport tires in sizes 245/30 ZR 20 in front and 315/25 ZR 20 in back.</p>
<p>Another measure to achieve even more agile and direct handling is the installation of NOVITEC ROSSO sport springs, which lower the ride height of the Ferrari by some 30 millimeters.</p>
<p>To lend the Scuderia better suitability for everyday use despite the lowering NOVITEC ROSSO offers an innovative hydraulic lift system for the front axle. At the push of a button in the cockpit the front is raised by 40 millimeters. It allows drivers to safely navigate parking ramps, low curbs and speed bumps. After safely passing over the obstacle, another push of the button reverts the suspension to its original position. If the button is not pushed the front end reverts to its original position automatically once the car reaches a speed of 80 km/h.</p>
<p>NOVITEC ROSSO also adds sporty and exclusive highlights to the interior of the Edizione 747. The Supersport steering wheel features a combination of leather and carbon-fiber and offers perfect grip. Its flattened bottom also makes entering and exiting the vehicle easier. To complement the steering wheel NOVITEC ROSSO offers carbon-fiber shift paddles. They are longer than their production counterparts and make manual shifting of the F1-SuperFast2 transmission even easier.</p>
<p>In addition, upon customer request NOVITEC ROSSO equips the coupe with a two-tone interior perfectly matched to the exterior colors.</p>

Those looking for something considerably faster and more exclusive choose the edo Enzo XX Evolution. <span id="more-208"></span></p>
<p>A bump in displacement from 6.0 to 6.3 liters, new camshafts, new titanium valve spring retainers and connecting rods, modified cylinder heads, new high performance exhaust headers, high flow catalytic converters, mufflers and air filters: that’s the scope of edo competition’s engine modifications. The standard hydraulic tappets are replaced with newly developed solid tappets, enabling the 12 cylinder engine to rev to an incredible 9,600 rpm. This is unmatched by any other 12 cylinder engine at this time! Additionally the intake system of the V12 was modified, a new high performance clutch &#8211; available with „strada“ or „pista“ friction pads &#8211; and a more powerful oil pump were installed. The power output is increased by 180 to 840 horsepower. Without mufflers more than 860 horsepower is possible. The maximum torque of 780 Nm (575 ft-lb) is available at 5,800 rpm. </p>
<p>While the power output is increased, the Enzo’s weight is decreased by a respectable 100 kilograms (220 lb). The result in numerical terms is that the edo Enzo XX Evolution accelerates from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.0 seconds and 300 km/h in just 19 seconds. The top speed exceeds 390 km/h (242 mph).</p>
<p>The acoustical side of things is obviously not being neglected. A stainless steel muffler featuring remote-controlled butterfly valves is available on request. This setup lets the driver switch the high performance exhaust between two different sound levels. </p>
<p>Astonishing transmission shift times: While the production Enzo takes 110 milliseconds, the edo Enzo XX Evolution shift times were reduced to an incredible 60 milliseconds! For comparison, an F1 car shifts in 40 milliseconds.</p>
<p>The edo/KW race suspension from the FIA GT series was retuned for the Enzo XX Evolution, promising ultimate driving dynamics. The nose lift functionality is retained. The low-friction 3-way adjustable shock absorbers can be adjusted to the individual tastes of the driver and provide excellent steering precision and feedback. The edo-installed tire pressure monitoring system displays the pressures for each of the four wheels. Providing ample grip for the edo Enzo XX Evolution are 19 inch front wheels and 20 inch rear wheels with 335 mm wide tires. </p>
<p>The drive shafts were replaced due to the higher propulsive forces acting on them. The new units are 4 kg (8.8 lb) lighter and considerably more robust in order to cope with the enormous power increase.</p>
<p>The aerodynamics package is absolutely unique.<br />
It includes a complete exhaust system with tips machined from billet aluminum, now relocated to the top of the body. The tips are plasma-coated using a special process. The newly developed rear skirt featuring winglets and a rear wing profile, adjustable in 3 steps, improves the ground effect and can be tuned to the tastes of the driver. The new retractable rear wing is upgraded with a taller flap resulting in increased downforce and stability, especially at high speeds. New LED tail lights round off the rear view of the car.</p>
<p>A test day with an instructor, mechanics, data logging, transport and hospitality is included in the conversion package. All modifications are carried out exclusively at edo competition Motorsport GmbH in Ahlen.</p>
